is a consultant neurologist and movement disorder expert at the Ludwig Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany. She holds a PhD degree in neuroscience from UCL, London. She has published more than 190 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and edited four books. She serves on several boards of neurological societies such as the International Parkinson disease and Movement Disorders Society (MDS).
