is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine at the University of Brescia where she earned her Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology. She investigated the genetics of kidney diseases at the Laboratory of Medical Genetics at Spedali Civili of Brescia and spent one year as a postgraduate associate at Yale University, in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Currently, she is studying NBIA disorders (MPAN, CoPAN) by animal (zebrafish) and cellular models.
